Sven Andreassen will be performing a special guest mix set on bpm.fm, this Friday at 2pm EST.
Born in Berlin, Sven Andreassen started his career for one reason alone: His intense love for electronic music.
After many years, music became more than a hobby for Sven. His trip through France made him realize his passion for electronic music.
The inspiration he found in France led him to share his appreciation by playing a couple of
DJ sets in a few well known clubs, as well as several gigs on French radio stations.
Backed by popular demand his stay in France was extended, longer than expected.
His experience in French imprinted in him a highlight in his career. Back in Berlin, he continued his tour
among renowned clubs. Steadily he gained a following of loyal fans. Each fan he touched were fascinated by his style of music. To this day, his appearance at Love Parade 2002 is still talked
about.
Sven Andreassen was the first DJ to be invited to fill the renowned Potsdamer Platz, in the
centre of Berlin. Accompanied by an impressive light show, he played an amazing set against a modern and urban backdrop, making it an unforgettable night.
Since this memorable performance, Sven has become a household name in the electronic
music scene.
To describe his music in greater detail, Sven uses sensory adjectives such as “peaceful,
melodic and at the same time encouraging”.
Sven’s music has been known to touch the emotions of those partying during his sets. Many testimonies have suggested that his sets bring about emotions both Joy and Satisfaction. Others swept by his music have been left with an impression too difficult to define.
Since 2009 he has his own radio show called “The Avenue”. This monthly show is broadcasted on several Internet radio stations -worldwide.
