BPM’ers!
We recently signed on DJ Chubby-C as a resident DJ. Chubby-C will broadcast his “Got Chubby” set on our station, every Friday from 5pm-6pm EST. This set will replace 8Bit:Mono’s – Mono:Nation session, which has been moved to Sundays.
DJ Chubby-C, hailed from Philadelphia, PA has always been interested in music. He gained his musical experience at a young age by playing on the guitar, drums and percussion and for a short stint with his local bell choir.
Chubby-C’s appreciation for music in its various forms helped him develop an instinct to recognize quality productions and performances aside from traditional pop-music. Before the age of 20, he purchased his first DJ set-up. Entranced by his heavy passion for trance and underground sets, he quickly developed a following of DJ Razor B.
Gaining a huge collection of vinyl from his favorite supplier, 611 Records, Chubby-C decided to start his own mobile DJ company: Ace Entertainment DJ’s. The business was and remains and great success, allowing him to support family for five years deejaying both small and large scale- weddings, corporate and private events.
In spite of this success, Chubby-C craved a return to the club scene and with the additional weight that comes along with fathering four children, began to seek out the areas hottest venues under the new moniker, DJ Chubby-C.
Exploding on the local transit, Chubby-C in his element as a night club DJ, holding residencies in two local PA clubs; JT Bankers and Molly’s Irish Grille & Sports Pub while managing regular guest appearances in various clubs in the tri-state area.
