2010 Changes

With 2009 behind us, there are changes (positive ones) that either are happening right now, or are slowly phasing their way to a station near you. Rather than bore you all to death with what will happen, and what will not, we will provide a list.
- No more forums: (Status: Completed)
Currently the way the forums were going (yes we start from scratch) there was no justification to keep it on our site. Moreover, the company that provides the licensing for the forum have taken a new direction as to how they wish to treat pre-existing customers/clients, and like many, we will most likely use a different company (Invision Boards) in the future. Should we decide to re-introduce the forums in the future, we will be more than happy to let you all know. For the time being, we believe that the homepage will be more than sufficient.
- Stream Links: (Status: Work In Progress)
We will change the pre-existing stream link; in addition, we no longer will be providing a US/EU shoutcast server. Instead, we will have one for both the 128kbps & 64kbps (no more 32kbps) stream. We expect have this finalized by the end of this week.
- Request Songs: (Status: On Hold)
For those of you that use the popup flash player, we are going to experiment with a new plug-in system that allows listeners to request a particular song. Whilst there is no scheduled deadline as to when this will be completed, we hope are aiming to get it up and running by the end of this month.
